This guide walks you through installing our Drupal plugin.

Getting Started with Secure Privacy
- After you have activated your email address, you will need to log in to Secure Privacy.
- Once logged in, you will be presented with a screen, as shown below.
- Select Drupal
- Copy the script code available on the screen and save it somewhere handy.
- Keep this tab open and continue installing Drupal module in a new tab.
Downloading Drupal Module
- Download the Secure Privacy Drupal Module and save the file on your local computer.
- Extract the downloaded archive file on your local computer.
- Using FTP or your server's file manager, upload the extracted
secure_privacy
folder to your Drupal site'smodules
directory:- For Drupal 8/9/10, these are recommended paths:
/modules/contrib/
or/modules/custom/

- Ensure proper file permissions (typically 755 for directories and 644 for files).
Installing Drupal Module
- Log in to your Drupal site as an administrator.
- Navigate to Extend
- If the Secure Privacy module is installed at the correct location mentioned above, you should be able to see Secure Privacy under List tab
Configuring the Secure Privacy Drupal Module
- While logged in as Administrator, click the Configuration tab
- Locate the System section, you should be able to see Secure Privacy listed under it.
- On the screen that is displayed, under Secure Privacy Script, you will see a text box, as shown below.
- Input the Secure Privacy script copied earlier in the space provided.
- Check select Enable Secure Privacy and click Save configuration.
Continue Secure Privacy Setup
- Reopen the tab with Secure Privacy onboarding.
- Click Test Installation
- You will see a toast notification in the left bottom area of the screen as below:
- This will confirm the successful installation of Secure Privacy Drupal module.
